ABOUT ME
I’m Italo Brazilian: born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in the late 80s, grew up in Milan, and now based in Geneva, Switzerland, where I live with my amazing wife and our two children in the beautiful Swiss landscape. My story is a mix of music, design, technology, and a deep curiosity for people and cultures, a journey that has naturally led me to creative engineering and experience design.
My love for music and creativity started early. At 9 years old, I was playing drums in the worship team of a church in Rio; at 12, I opened my first business, crafting and selling handmade wooden products. More than 25 years later, that same passion still drives me: I enjoy playing instruments, developing products, designing solutions, and shaping experiences, while leading creative projects and supporting artists, technicians, engineers, volunteers, and managers through my work.
I’ve invested deeply in my craft: Executive Master in Music Business Management from 24ORE Business School in Milan, a Postgraduate in Sound Engineering from UNIMORE University, and an Audio Engineering Diploma from SAE Institute Milan, plus more than 10 certifications across Music, Design, Education, and Pro AVL. These foundations have allowed me to move fluidly between artistry and technology, between the studio, integration, and large-scale events.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with artists and brands that have shaped my vision. Grammy Award-winning artists like Israel Houghton, Myron Butler, and Hillsong Worship; Latin Grammy winners such as Marcos Witt, Alex Campos, and Aline Barros; alongside Gims, Farruko, Mika, Jake La Furia, Sebalter, Make Plain, Francesca Michielin, Eli Soares, Jesus Adrián Romero, Fernandinho, and Milton Nascimento, to mention just a few. To date, I’ve been part of projects with over 1,000 artists and many renowned brands.
As a multi-award-winning engineer with over 20 years of experience, I’m proud of achievements such as the Gold Record certification by FIMI Italy, Best Music Concert at the Gospel Music Awards Italy, chart-topping songs on Billboard, Apple Music, and Music Worx, and Pro AVL Industry Awards, all made possible by exceptional teams and shared passion.
My work has been released by labels such as Universal Music Italia, Universal Music Brasil, Som Livre, and several independent and international labels, bridging local and global projects. I’ve had the privilege of mixing at some of Europe’s most iconic festivals, Montreux Jazz Festival, OpenAir St Gallen, Heitere Open Air, Novara Gospel Festival, and Moon and Stars, and collaborating with Rockin’1000, “The biggest rock band on earth,” as well as brands like Disney, The Sphere Las Vegas, Ferrari Store, Nike, Santander, and Formula 1.
I served as Director of the Production Team at Sabaoth Church, leading the team through services, conferences, concerts, and events, while also supporting more than 35 Sabaoth Churches around the world. Later, as Head of Education, Field Application and Solutions Engineer at Powersoft in Italy, I traveled the globe providing education, technical solutions, and support to key accounts such as Disney, Pioneer, Bose, The Sphere Las Vegas, and Train The Trainers, speaking at major Pro AVL trade shows such as ISE, InfoComm, and ProLight + Sound, and working on projects in different applications across stadiums, arenas, theatres, hotels, residential projects, houses of worship, cruise ships, clubs, universities, and tours.
Today, I work as an Experience Director and Creative Engineer, based in Geneva, Switzerland, and as Directeur technique at Uptown Geneva, a vibrant venue hosting over 700 events per year, including resident and touring productions. The venue has been nominated for the Swiss Location Awards 2023 and 2024. I also serve as Advisor at Joie Church and Noor Global, NGOs based in Geneva, where I contribute to vision, mission, and operational development.
As an entrepreneur, I’ve built a creative ecosystem that includes an agency, a studio, and an academy, all centered on Creative Engineering, experience design, and knowledge sharing. The agency designs and delivers experiences for artists, brands, and institutions; the studio brings them to life through production, mixing and mastering, immersive audiovisual projects, and career management; the academy trains the next generation of technicians, engineers, and creatives through hands-on education and mentorship.
I’ve traveled in more than 35 countries, experiences that have opened my mind, shaped my perspective, and taught me how to adapt and lead across cultures. Speaking five languages, English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish, has allowed me to connect with people on a personal and professional level, both on stage and behind the scenes.
GRIT, strong communication, a solution-oriented mindset, interpersonal skills, leadership, and a continuous search for excellence are the pillars of my approach to life, people, and projects.
At the heart of it all, I love God above all things, my wife, my children, and serving others. I crave adrenaline, living adventures in nature, and, of course, Italian food, the perfect blend of passion, precision, and beauty that inspires everything I do.
